I know that to take the clearest shots, I should take them at my camera's highest resolution... but I don't really know what that means.
So, what exactly is resolution?
How can I find out at what resolution my digital camera is shooting at?
Also, how can I change the resolution to a higher one (if needed)?

Oh, if you need to know this...I have an Olympus C765-UZ.

Sorry for the stupid/obvious questions. I'm semi-new to photography... and definately new to those fancy photography terms. =)

Thanks for your input!

Are they really all that bad for photos? I know that when the glue gets sticky with age the photos sometimes can't be gotten out, but I would change albums before that happens.

Here is what I'm going to do with it:

I have recently found alot of old photos of my grand parents, great grand parents and family photos. I want to make pages for each person and stick all their photos on one page. I can't buy one off the internet and don't want a scrapbook.

Should I use the stick down albums?

obscene or offensive not having pubic hair or should I let it grow out? I normally shave it, but don't want to offend. Does anyone have experience doing nudes or posing for them? Thanks.

I'm doing a project about Japan in the 1930s and I need a piece of art that was influenced by that time period. I'd like it to be a picture of a geisha, but I'm open to other suggestions as well.

The problem is, I can't find a painting with the artist's name on it. I need a name to do a little research on them.

Help would be immensely appreciated. Internet sites, anything...

Say I have a blank unfinished body and I want to put a sweet psychedelic painting on it, such as Clapton's famous SG: http://www.saiichi.com/assets/JPEG%20IMAGES/15_fool_sg_closeup.jpg

What are the steps that I must follow to complete this task? What kind of paint can I use and do I just find a clear finish (nitrocellulose) to put over the color layer? Thanks for your help.

I remember that many years ago, when I was a kid during the 70s and 80s, my mom used to watch his show on PBS. Even though Bob Ross has been dead for some time, I think he's sort of become a legend. In fact, I remember a guy on here who used Ross' picture as an avatar.:)

I want to get like a necklace with a japanese symbol that mean like: love, faith or like blessed. A gold symbol that would go good on a nice gold chain for a female. Any website you know of that sales something like this?

I want to print my own cards using my own photographs.
I already an entry level one that is out dated but it works. It the adobe photo starter 1.0 BUT it prints on the paper so you have to fold it....Either i take the time to somehow glue it all together with maybe contact cement or possible find a program that doesnt print it so the page is folded for the effect of the card.
ANy suggestion considered.

"Young virgin auto-sodomized by her own chastity"
It sounds to be a reference to masturbation. The painting looks to have a bunch of phallus' flying around as well. What was Mr. Dali's inspiration for making this piece, and what did he have it represent?

Rights managed liceses are ridiculously expensive, when you sell a rights managed licensed image to someone, are you saying that NO ONE else can purchase this image from you (as the licensor) during the term of the RM license?

Royalty free licences are WAY cheaper, is this because you can sell them to more than one purchaser at a time?

Or am I way off? There is no resource that full explains this!
