I want to print my own cards using my own photographs.
I already an entry level one that is out dated but it works. It the adobe photo starter 1.0 BUT it prints on the paper so you have to fold it....Either i take the time to somehow glue it all together with maybe contact cement or possible find a program that doesnt print it so the page is folded for the effect of the card.
ANy suggestion considered.

I would use the Adobe Creative Suite, but that is just me, I'm a designer. :)

I'm not sure I understand the question.

You want to print cards that are NOT folded? Do you mean like a postcard with a photo on one side, only?

Or, do you mean like a regular greeting card, that is, simply a card, folded in half, with an image in front? In that case, it is simple to layout in any graphic program, even Microsoft Word. Set the document to the size of the card stock. In most cases, it will be a "landscape" orientation. "Insert," "Place," or "Import" your graphic so that it appears, only, on the RIGHT half of the page. When the card is folded, the photo will be on the "front" cover. But you still have to fold it yourself. For an easier time of it, most office supply or computer stores will sell packages of blank greeting card stock in a pretty standard size.

If you mean where a card is printed on ordinary, 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper, and folded twice, then I answer with, "why bother?" since card stock is available in the proper size. Still, if you have to do it on ordinary printer paper, it is as easy as the previous method. In this case, place the graphic in the LOWER, RIGHT corner of the page. After printing, fold it across, once, and fold it down, once, and the photo should, again, appear is the front cover of the card.
