I'm doing a project about Japan in the 1930s and I need a piece of art that was influenced by that time period. I'd like it to be a picture of a geisha, but I'm open to other suggestions as well.

The problem is, I can't find a painting with the artist's name on it. I need a name to do a little research on them.

Help would be immensely appreciated. Internet sites, anything...

would desire to the artist be Sadao Wantanabe? If no longer, you could in all possibility detect a itemizing of jap POWs on line, which aspects you with extra education. He won't have been a nicely-common artist or pursued artwork after the conflict.
