I just walked out in my front yard and snapped this pic. Notice how there are not a bunch of trees getting in the way of the sunset?

Oh wow, that is pretty. There are two prisons in my town though, so I am an easy audience when it comes to nice landscapes.

I can understand the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, the saguaros, red-tailed hawks, mountains, and everything in between. I lived in Tucson from April 1984 to September 1995 and traveled the state extensively by motorcycle.

I miss it, but not the fast rising crime rate.

Very nice! I love Arizona too, but I really do miss the green. :/ Darn near everything in Phoenix is brown. Dirt, rocks, buildings..

You just made me homesick for Arizona. My favorite place of residence. Words cannot do justice to a desert sunset. Thanks for sharing a beautiful moment in time.

*sigh* You make me miss my home.. again! :)

Two more years and I can see that once more! It's one of the things I miss the most about AZ. That, and the spectacular rainbows during the summer rains.
