What exactly is the difference between them? Also for anybody that is in Austin Tx, do you know of a good acting program with things for after school or weekend acting classes for people who are like 12 and 13 or more? I've heard of kidsacting.com , but all thier classes started in september last month so its too late to join. If anybody knows anything that would be REALLY helpful because I'd like to get some experience in before I start auditioning for commercials...should I also just try and audition anyway?

I am interested i doing some acting. Like small stuff, i.e. commercials, advertisements, etc. I just don't know if I should do it through an agency or do i just jump right into as many auditions as I can find. i would really like some serious real world advice about this.

I really want to get my acting career started and I cant unless I find a casting director who needs someone. Im 15 years old, in South Florida, and am a sophmore in High School. Recently I have become obsessed with the entertainment industry, especially acting. I need to know first off how to break out of this shell I'm in. I also need to know tips and tricks on auditioning so I can kick this career off. I'm not intrigued by the glitz and glamour but by the entire lump of it all. How can a teen figured it out? :-(

i'm looking for some camp somewhere, really doesn't matter as long as its in the US. it'd be nice if it wasn't all stuck up and weird, and preferably not to expensive? anyway i can work around money especially if they offer assist-i'm not saying i'm broke i'm saying there's a limit if you catch my drift.
the bottom line is i'd like to go to a theatre camp somewhere the summer of 2008. if you have any good experiences with places let me know!
unfortunately there are restrictions. there is one place i've heard of that i simply cannot go to, so sorry if this was your idea. stage door manor is off the list, but any other suggestions are appreciated!

I'm from New York. Eventhough I'm 18, I watch The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Hannah Montana. I also watch HSM 1 & 2. HSM 3 is currently being recorded. I don't have an agent and I want to audition for HSM 3 and Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. I've only been in 2 plays in my entire life. I've been in my school play Annie and has played a servant. I was in an acting class and also did the play Annie and played one of thee orphans. So if anyone can help me get an acting job on all 3 I'd be like so happy!

Im 13 and i really want 2 get into acting.

I want 2 get into an agency but mum keeps saying that i can do acting at school but really i cant because my school only really does musicals and im ok at singin but not good enough 2 b in a musical.

How can i convince her 2 get me into an agency?
