Sorry but the rights holders on this one have it on a short leash. It used to be available online in text form but they found out and made the site owners pull the text.

The first answerer is correct, if you plan to perform the show you absolutely have to get the rights. The rights for all or most Andrew Lloyd Webber shows must be obtained from The Really Useful Group http://www.reallyuseful.com/rug/put/

You can probably find a copy of Cats at the local library or through inter library loan.

But if you are looking to perform Cats by Andrew Lloyd Webber then you are going to have get the rights to do so.

You could do an adaptation of the original Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats and other poems by T. S. Eliot which is in the public domain and not have to pay rights.

At one of my jobs, I was responsible for approving rights, for organizations to produce plays (not Cats.)

You will be in a very, bad situation that may cost you a lot of money and attorney's fees to get through it, if produce Cats without obtaining the rights.
