What exactly is the difference between them? Also for anybody that is in Austin Tx, do you know of a good acting program with things for after school or weekend acting classes for people who are like 12 and 13 or more? I've heard of kidsacting.com , but all thier classes started in september last month so its too late to join. If anybody knows anything that would be REALLY helpful because I'd like to get some experience in before I start auditioning for commercials...should I also just try and audition anyway?

theatre doc is so right. look for agents and managers and you will get auditions. if u get an agent, they can decide if u need classes. or if no agent wants u, that could mean that u need to take classes too.

Schools offer classes so do private coaches. Do a web search for "acting schools in Austin, TX". Then call them and ask.

Why is it uninformed and inexperienced wannbes do not know that commercials are the best acting roles and go to the best actors and can only be had though an agent? Of course they have no idea what an agent does or how to get one, either.
