I live in the Seattle area...about 2 hours away. Anyway I was told by dozens of people to take my son to a talent agency or send pictures.I looked on the internet and they all want money. So I thought it was a scam. Could anyone tell me how to go about this? I am not to sure. He is 14 months old and I just wanted to send a picture or take him somewhere safe to have someone professional tell me yes or no. Please help.

I really want to do this thing where I cry at the end of a sad scene I am acting out in class, but I don't know how to do it. I've tried walking around until my eyes dried up so much that they started watering and I cried, but that took like two minutes of not blinking. Is there any way to make myself cry faster? I don't want to put peppermint oil in my eyes or anything... Does anyone have good ideas? Serious answers, please.

I have to pretend to for a school play. (Upper school so sorta important). He's a guy I've known since primary school and he's nice and all that but it's just I've never kissed a guy for real so feel really awkward in our scene where i have to pull him around so he's blocking the audiences view and put my face really close to his, so it looks like we kissed.

I feel really awkward and I duno don't mind doing the scene, just wish I knew a way to make it look natural and mmake myself feel normal about. (and really kissing him is out of the question)

Any tips or advice greatly appreciated :)

here is the deal. Ive worked professionally with a theatre and decided to get an agent. I got an agent, signed the contract and paid a small fee to be listed on their website and book. I was told they would call me at least 2 times a week to go out on auditions, it has been a month and i have not received a call or anything from them. Ive called them they said just to go and do some extra work, and now I want to do more.
1. If I send in my headshot and resume do I list my alleged agencies contact info on it, or my own? the way I see it is that if they don't get me the the audition they don't get the credit so it shouldn't involve them.
2. i just need general help on where to send my headshot and resume..casting directors ? other agencies?

please help if you can.

thanks

I have found a monolog to music, but i am struggleing on a song choice. I have a few choices i have came up with with my music director's help.I am one of the more respected fine arts kids at our school so i want to try to get agood part. And jack seems like he would be fun to be =).

In William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", it shows that true love never run's smoothe. I have so far deduced THAT, but I'm stuck as to examples. Any ideas on how to support this conclusion strictly from the play?

At the community college theater, I auditioned for a part in Lysistrata and got the role of Calonice.

I'm fifteen, but I already attend the college and everything. Besides, the audition paper said it's for 'all members of the community'.

Now, unless you don't know, Lysistrata is a sex comedy with crude humor and language. Do you think that if the director found out my age, she can cancel my casting?

The show's in December, by which I'll turn 16.

Thanks!!
