What does STRIKE mean. It is in my script as directions. I initially thought it was ment that I was supposed to hit that object - luckily the cast thought I was playing around and laughed. So I guess that isn't what it means.

so far i have done 2 monologues and 2 person act scene, and iam doing more, iam probably thinking i should do atleast 6 monologues and 6 person acting scene..do u think that would be good enough to gain experience?.....iam still going to take more acting classes and learn more about acting, but how many monologues and person act scenes do u think i should gain until iam going to a new acting class, because i want to get trained by more acting company's.................

THERE IS MONOLOGUES AND 2 PERSON ACTS...WHAT ELSE IS THERE THAT RELATES TO ACTING THAT I CAN IMPROVE ON.. .........LIKE AUDITIONS TECHNIQUES, DANCE, VOICE..ETC...WHAT ELSE CAN I IMPROVE ON...JUS TELL ME..DNT TELL ME IF I NEED HELP ON IT..JUS TELL ME WHAT OTHER KINDS OF EXPERIENCE I CAN GAIN..THANK U

Ive always known what I want to do in life is somewhere between theatre and clowning, but without the seriousness & with the respect of theatre, and without the buffoon-ishness & with the fun of clowning. So recently I found a group that combines this EXACTLY! And I dont know if theyll have me yet, but if they will then I KNOW I am meant for this. So my plan was to completely refocus, take all performance based classes next semester, and basically do what I have to to be what they need. Then if they say no anyway, Id still have more elective credits for a theatre degree.
My main concern is...1. If they wont have me...how do I keep from feeling shot? and 2. If they say they'll have me, it's a LOT of training, which may possibly cost money Im not sure yet, and would involve moving 3 hours away and travelling a LOT.
I just dont know whether this seems too much like "running away with the circus"? but then when I start thinking, I realize they all did it so what's the problem?.........

Here is a paragraph I'm having trouble with:

My passion for theatre grew over time. From assistant directing and properties directing with The Dinning Room to writing the director’s handbook and dramaturge work for An Actor’s Nightmare, I understood acting terminology. From assistant stage managing The Foreigner and building up sets for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I learned the jargon of backstage. From performing as a lead Lily-Belle in Curious Savage and acting in more than half-a-dozen plays, I know that I can contribute a great deal in the classroom and build upon what knowledge I have already.

Keep to 89 words, keep the same idea of "I have experience in theater", "these are my highlights" and "why it's important for this study-abroad in london".

I want to become an actor, but I dont have much expierence. The only thing I have taken is a speech and acting class at my high school and plan on doing some plays this year, but it will be my first year doing so. I did go to proscout (plan on going agin) last year but when I walked up to them for the 15sec interview they said I needed more expierence (even though online it said no exp. needed). So what are some good tips to getting started. I plan on going to college in 2008, so what college would be right? (I live in Ohio so maybe somewhere in New York or just somewhere that has a solid program?)thnx
