try 'when i'm not near the girl i love' from Finian's Rainbow, 'make someone happy' from Do Re Mi, or if you feel adventurous try suggesting something by Jason Robert Brown!

whatever you do, don't let him sing Andrew Lloyd Webber or anything from Chicago because they've heard it a hundred times before!
