Wow, you sure have me guessing what you think your words mean. Do you mean slapstick comedy, when did it start? The term physical theatre ususally refers to the theatre building. Commedia dell'arte is a particular form of Renaissance theatre, composed of travelling troupes of actors who improvised their plays and included a lot of slapstick. The origins of commedia dell'arte are in the rustic theatre troupes that go back to ancient Rome and Greece. For more info ask me specific questions.

im doing physical theatre at school! it is also called stylised drama and involves being unnaturalistic (in the play not having real situations, talking furnature, choral speaking, mime, slow motion etc) if you want more about it try searching for stylised drama on the internet!
