We have to as a group rewrite the play-within-the-play of Pyramus and Thisbe and it has to be funny. also, we have to choose a theme. My group chose that we are drunk and drug addicts.

If you have any ideas how to do the play, can you answer this queation please......

I've been working my butt off with my stage crew for the past two years. I'm way more than meeting the requirements to be inducted into our honor society, and my induction is this spring. I have been working just as hard as all of the other veterans, and all of my skills have grown so much even in this past year. I'm properties manager and I've taken over a lot of the artistic design, and I'm head foam artist, but it seems like to the other crew members the only thing this means is that they can abuse me. I so desperately wanted either the stage manager or the lighting technician jobs that are opening up in June, but they already selected another girl to be stage manager not even halfway through her first show with us, and they selected this kid to do lights that hasn't even committed to being with us for a full show yet! I can't even get the respect from the other crew members that they give to each other, and I can't figure out why. What would you do?

Now, the resume needs to be there somewhere...should it be stapled on the back of it? Or would it be better if it was PRINTED on the back of the headshot?

Describe to me the perfect headshot, realistically. Perhaps you have the perfect headshot.

Detail the most you can. Including the pose on the picture. Whether your smile shows teeth or not. Whether it should or not.

I'm a 18 year old college student and would like to get into acting for film, not stage, here in Los Angeles.

How do I accomplish this? Obviously I need headshots. Black/White or color? How much should I pay and how many should I get?

I've heard of SAG but do I need to become a member? If so, Why?

Should I get an Agent first? There's so many rip off agent scams out there in LA so how do I look for reputable ones?

Does weight affect how one sings? I don't know if its me being paranoid, but it seems like whenever I improve the most with my singing is when I've gained weight. The my junior year in high school I started putting on weight, and also gained more volume, intonation, and vibrato with my singing. Not to be steryotypical, but many opera and choral singers arent generally the smallest around. Someone told me that is because of having more air or something like that to breathe. So, does one's weight and body structure affect your singing, and if weight changes (loss weight specifically) will that affect your singing as well? Anyone have suggestions?

They started the show with a horse-drawn covered wagon, then would do theatre-plays presenting aesop's fables, Brothers' Grimm fables, wisdom and humanity theme plays. It was always done like medieval style people travelling from town to town.
Anyone remember the name of that theatre troup or show which appeared once a week for many weeks on TV then?

I just moved to Chicago and I work a full-time job in Retail Management (my promotions kind of spun out of control and all of a sudden Im chasing that 50-60 hours a week) but my passion is in acting. In moving to Chicago, I left behind my network of directors and compatriots and have not been able to re-establish that here yet. Im looking for some help in where to get reasonably priced headshots done, and what a good way is to start getting auditions/representation here. I've pursued a lot of my own avenues, but I figured I would throw it to the experts because I really want this and any additional info would be fantastic. So PLEASE help out a 24 year old actor chasing a dream in a new big city!!
