we always told my grandson dads away at school .Now he is home from jail back on drugs and HIV positive.Do we continue the lies or tell the truth? What if somewhere down the road someone says I saw your dad stoned and sleeping in the park & he defends his dad and says thats a lie ? What if he fights for his dads reputation? He is only 7 .

Predict the outcome of this child. Thanks. These are the factors affecting this her.

Parental education is minimal (not beyond elementary).
Low-income home.
Single-parent (no father).
Parent knowledge or "know-hows" minimal.
Home environment with a lot of fighting and yelling (many siblings).
Mocked at school nearly everyday.
Goes to church every week.
Eats well; not prone to obesity.
Above the "average" level of intellligence.
Persistence and drive in personality.
Prone to depressive bouts.

Any of this make a big picture "sense"?

...rather than actual subject matters of knowledge? For example, the stronger inclination to study the philosophies of math, music, sciences, etc rather than actually engaging in math, music, sciences, more or less to this extent. One may be an dabbler but not expert in anything and still carry on this "need" to engage in metanalyses.

Does this indicate anything about stamina/intelligence/industry? I would think that the activity of engaging in the metaanalysis of physics requires less than getting seriously involved in theoretical physics, for example.

If God is willing to stop evil, but not able, then he isn’t all powerful. If God is able to stop evil, but not willing, he is cruel. If he is both able and willing, there wouldn’t be evil in the world. And if he is not able or willing, he wouldn’t be a God.

So why is this thing that lets there be evil, or is cruel to us, or who isn’t all powerful, called a God?

Sometimes when look at myself in the mirror. The face i see to me is a stranger. i know it's me, but who is me?. The reflection I see in front of me. The image that is projected by million of photons. Have i ever see who I really was?

Is who I am What I imagine i am? Or who I am is what people see?

We're in a world where everything seems to revolve around beauty and looking good on the OUTSIDE. Or so this is 'beauty'.

Why are people so obsessed with it? People who are constantly obsessing over their looks and 'beauty' tend to have worse lives then those who don't obsess and simply live life and pay attention to the important things. Or so it seems.

What is with people anyway?? I don't get it. I've never been obsessed with fashion or anything like that, sure, I've had/have insecurities, but don't we all? Why does it seem we all seek perfection, when we're only human?

Personally, I'd rather save my makeup money and give it to a family in Africa who needs it.

But there aren't many me's, are there?
