Predict the outcome of this child. Thanks. These are the factors affecting this her.

Parental education is minimal (not beyond elementary).
Low-income home.
Single-parent (no father).
Parent knowledge or "know-hows" minimal.
Home environment with a lot of fighting and yelling (many siblings).
Mocked at school nearly everyday.
Goes to church every week.
Eats well; not prone to obesity.
Above the "average" level of intellligence.
Persistence and drive in personality.
Prone to depressive bouts.

Any of this make a big picture "sense"?

Low income makes her humble. No father, typical and doesnt need one.Minimal parental know how, will learn street smarts.Lots of fighting at home, will learn to mind her own bussiness.School mocking, will fight back when has to.Will seek solice in a higher power. All in all will turn out to be a very well adjusted adult and successful.

No education beyond elementary? Well, it would appear that those are quite some difficulties. Not perfect but it could still be worse too.... This would describe many folks in any rural area of 1950's and earlier...

Other info needed.....
Drugs or alcohol involved anywhere?
Any father figure at all?
Extended family?

Really, there isn't any way to predict the outcome of anyone's life. It is individual choice and life is what the person actually makes of it.....I would bet that intelligence enables this person to overcome it all...... Depression does not entirely rule out success. There have been some highly successful people who have depression.

I do not think the social program of taking kids like this from natural parents and having them raised by someone else is any better.

The external factors are quite unimportant. The prognosis is not good unless the child learns the problem of thinking. Otherwise, the depressive bouts will continue and the individual's life will not be a happy one.

A child from a wealthy home with educated parents faces the same outcome. The larger determinant or predictor is the depressive bouts.
