Ah, one of the great mysteries. Much greater minds than mine have pondered this one for millenia, no doubt. It does remind me of a story about an old boy, just turned 100 or so. He's being interviewed by a local reporter for a human interest piece, and he says something about how he's 100 years old and doesn't have an enemy in the world. The reporter says, "That's so wonderful, what makes you say that?" The old boy replies, "I've outlived them all!" So just maybe, there's hope.
