Well I think there's general consensus among most people that it is fear, but if it had no emotion previously attached to it ---- I'd say it would be relaxational laziness (if that's an emotion). A positive sort of laziness. The kind you get when you lie in tall grass on a warm day. When I think yellow the first things that come to mind are sunflowers and lemonade and both remind me of lazy summer days.

You might want to look into the associations Pagans apply to various colors, just as a point of interest.

Emotionally, I associate yellow with very sharp-edged clarity, a focus almost beyond emotion in its intensity.

A mellow one.

Seriously now, not just because mellow rhymes with yellow, like in the Cat Stevens song of the 60's. Think about it, does yellow not bring thoughts of softness, as if yielding, accomodating..?

it would be scared... " youre a yellow-bellied chicken" someone in back to the future said that, and i guess beingn yellow signifies you being scared. I think i would agree with that because yellow is the universal signal for caution and if you were feeling yellow it would have to mean you were being cautious and in turn being scared :)

Depends what shade. Bright yellow is happy, golden yellow is warm and homely, and pale yellow can be cold, hostile, and unwelcoming while a pale yellow green can be sickly. Don't limit yourself to just one shade.

I don't think fear is yellow because without fear we wouldn't need courage or bravery. To me yellow is that sense of relaxation on a perfect day.

Interior decorators insist it is a happy color and I think it true because dark colors are apt to cause moody emotions. It will brighten things up be it a room or what you wear.as compared to somber or drab colors.
