Sometimes when look at myself in the mirror. The face i see to me is a stranger. i know it's me, but who is me?. The reflection I see in front of me. The image that is projected by million of photons. Have i ever see who I really was?

Is who I am What I imagine i am? Or who I am is what people see?

What you see in a mirror is merely the virtual image of your physical body, not you.
What others see is only your physical body.
'What you really are' is what remains excluding all your senses, mind, intellect and ego. This all universe is in your mind only and you are not this universe.

If you see a stranger when you look at that body in the mirror, it could be disassociation. You might say things in your mind like, "This... is me?" or, "So that is my father, huh?" A good way to get rid of that feeling (if it scares you) is to watch some tv for a while. If that's not what you're looking for, then maybe it's more a thing of your soul piloting your body, or you're no longer identifying with your physical body. It's not really a bad thing, in fact it could give you a new perspective on life.
People have different selves, but the truest, strongest one is the one you are by yourself, inside your own head. We show different masks to different people. Most of the classmates that didn't know me very well thought I would become a serial killer, my grandma thinks I'm a nice kid (well, that's only "true" when people are nice to me or are elderly), and my friends call me an alien.

You are who you think you are, not what others see.

You are the sum of all your experiences, not the sum of what others have experienced about you.

Personally, I kind of like most of me. I'm not a people-person, and I like that about me. It's not really a good thing many times, but I still like that part of me. Other people hate that about me and wished I'd go out more often.

And I talk to myself in my head all the time. And that is who I am - that inner voice talking to myself. I'm not wholly what other's see in me as they can not get 100% of me and never will, as they can't listen to my inner voice all the time. And they should thank their lucky stars that they can't!

As far as the mirror thing goes, I wish I could see myself, 3D, as others see me, just to see what I look like. Pictures and videos are ok, but it'd be cool to see a twin of me.

I have often wondered if what people percieve me to be is who I think I am as well. I am ,however, compelled to accept that I am not the person people think I am. We all have secrets and skeletons that will never see the light of day to a greater or lesser degree.

You are a point of view from which the universe perceives itself and communicates (however accurately) what it perceives to other points of view. "Point of view" includes experience, knowledge, spatial position, spiritual unfoldment, etc. You are that one over there; I am this one over here.

Of course there are many other ways to answer this question, many of which are also true. I gave this one because most people have never thought of it like that. It is from what I call my Indexical Theory of Consciousness (copyright 1994).

an absolutely thought provoking question. unfortunately it is a question that can not be answered ever by anyone. we are constantly effected by our environment and the many people who we interact with so how will we ever know who we really are.

i believe that life is not necessarily knowing who i am but trying to stay sane in a world that is not authentic.

Looking at your self in the mirror you see the shell that contains the notion of you or your idea of you. But, keep looking and looking you'll see you.

You are what you do and desire.

I'm thinking right now you don't have job or at least not one you plan to keep for long. And I'm guessing you aren't clear on what you want either.

So at the moment, you are probably nobody.
