If God, by definition, created the universe, and you deny that he did, aren't you just denying the definition of the word "God"? But isn't it logically inconsistent to deny the definition of any word?

For me, I am like Jimmy Stewart in: "Harvey". Life is for me to share my magic and always bring light to others and make them shine in ways that thought they've lost by growing up.

Dont be extreme. People of all cultures in this day and age can agree murder is wrong (unless they are mentally sick).

Ayn Rand once said that "existence exists". Provided that is true, what makes that possible? Generally, we believe that human experience (our senses) is an adequate representation of our existence and the existence around us, but our senses will never be able to tell us how existence could ever exist. Or will they?

I probably could not ever kill anybody under any circumstance. However, probably the two circumstances that the possibility might exist would be the rape and murder of my daughter or someone seriously abusing an animal. Someone that abuses an animal deserves to die, that goes for hunters too.

Where do you find the strenght to continue?

I'm in my mid-twenties and have become quite disillusioned with life. I don't know where I'm heading although I live quite practically. It bothers me that my friends are content with their choices; what is wrong with me?

Am I wrong to believe that the human race is headed for self-destruction; spiritually at least?

I feel restless a lot, angry at times for being powerless. Sometimes I just want to dissapear or get away from all the chaos. I don't understand how how people are so intent on keeping to mechanical routine every day.

Is there anyone out there who feels like breaking away too? I try to do little things that will make a difference and my family says that it's the best I can do. Then why doesn't it feel enough?

There's also a part of me that wants to be in a position where no one can harm me. I see everyone looking out to be number one. Today, you have to be the best or you're worthless. It seems kinda cruel to me.

This is my explanation of life:
To find the meaning of life we must find the meaning of death. If there was no life there will be no death, thus ending the meaning of life.So if there was no death there will be no life so their will be no meaning thus = no life.My conclusion:
Life is nothing.Life is nothing more than an illusion, death will never occur since we'll never know we existed when we die. Thus proving their is no life, thier is no death, their is no nothing. That only me and space exists.Nothing else matters. Now for the *slow* ones who don't understand what I'm saying, life is nothing more than an illusion compared to a dream. When you wake up from a dream nothing will matter. You won't know. You'll simply won't be there. You won't know anything.Your just like a thought.Unimportent and useless. You guys get me?:)?

I have spent my entire life putting the thoughts and feelings of those around me before my own and it just doesn't seem to get you anywhere. I'm at a point now where I feel maybe I should just put myself first and screw everyone else. Does that make me a bad person????

Pretend you had unsurpassed power. Say, for instance, you could travel back to the creation of the universe and change the future. Imagine that you could create life, in any dimension, in any shape for any due time. What would you do? Would you make the world look like Simpsons characters or political cartoons? Would you make the universe a computer? Tell me, in great detail, what your world/universe would be like.

What is the meaning of life? I often wonder why I am here, what is the purpose, what is the hidden truth behind everything? Or is there even a deeper meaning at all? Is everything just coincindence, random, spiratic, and sudden, all based on choice and luck? Do we create our own destiny or is there some preplanned layout for each life? Are the people I have met over the years of my life, ones that have both come and gone, were they brought to me for a reason? The things I have gone through....were these lessons that I was supposed to TAKE something from? Please help, there are so many possibilities. It drives me mad! I can't become religious because I can't settle on just one theory or thought. Anyone have any theories that make A LOT of sense?? I'm 22yrsold by the way. Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks.

let's face it, all of the f*ck ups & down falls in this life, make it more interresting, & help us learn & grow. if everything was just, then we all would be spoiled brats & nothing would ever be accomplished.
