can't buy you love, it can help enable you to find love, i.e. increase your love-finding opportunities. As for happiness, it depends what makes you happy, what do you covet? But, anyway, happiness is a state of mind, if you're not happy you prob won't ever be with all the riches in the world...

That's as if to say that happiness is permanent. As if your happiness is secured by money. Sure you would have less financial difficulties, which is a huge load off of your back.

Looking at the problems from a lack of money, it's true that it can make times rough. Wanting to help your kids get through college, wishing to could lend your mother money for her health care, and at the same time wanting to have spending money for the weekends.

Just thinking that you'll always be happy because you have money is a set up to disappointment. At the end of the road discovering that money can't possibly solve all of your problems is a big let down.

Suffering happens, you can't stop it.

You can't buy love. Love is an emotion. Waving a handful of money in someones face won't make them love you, of course. Sure they might desire to be with you but desiring and loving is different.

"Happiness" and "love" are two broad terms. It varies from person to person. Sometimes money can buy "happiness" and "love" for certain people but at the same time, money cannot buy "happiness" and "love" for others.

Money can buy anything as long as the seller accepts your money in exchange for the item that you desire.

So the real question is, will "purchased happiness and love" make the person feel "happy" and "loved"?

For example, the richest man in the world can buy the house of his dreams and smile everytime he looks at his sparkly, gorgeous mansion. He can attract almost any woman and that woman will pretend to love him. As long as he has money, she will do and give anything that he wants. You can't tell if it's fake or real because she will act as if it's true "love" and that will bring the man great happiness and love. Although she treats him like a "soulmate", he knows the truth. Is he willing to be ignorant or not? Ignorance can be bliss if he lets it be that way.

So, it depends on the person.

Money can not buy happiness or love. It must be present before hand. Happiness is something that must be in your heart and soul. People who love you will love you regardless of how much money you have in the bank. The love I have for my husband goes beyond financial stability. I was there when he was down and out. And I did not kick him. I believed in him. I stood next to him. I walked next to him. We took each task in life one step at a time. Now he is making 6 figures. I watch those people who win the lottery and are still unhappy. They have all the money, more than they need. And the happiness and love they thought was there is just a mist in the sky. The love of my family is more important. I can not put a dollar amount on their love.

No. Money can make life easier but happiness is a state of mind not a commodity that can be bought. If you buy love then it is not love only the other persons love of your money or your love of their money!

Happiness and love are not tangible commodities but merely emotions and you can't buy an emotion because an emotion is basically just a chemical imbalance in the brain.

However, this imbalance can be replicated by large amounts of chocolate...and that most certainly can be bought.

"But money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver. It will give you the means for the satisfaction of your desires, but it will not provide you with desires. Money is the scourge of the men who attempt to reverse the law of causality – the men who seek to replace the mind by seizing the products of the mind.

Money will not purchase happiness for the man who has no concept of what he wants; money will not give him a code of values, if he's evaded the knowledge of what to value, and it will not provide him with a purpose, if he's evaded the choice of what to seek. Money will not buy intelligence for the fool, or admiration for the coward, or respect for the incompetent."

If you define "happiness and love" as encounters with hookers... then yes.

For most of the rest of us... no.

Only a healthy mind can be happy, and money can't cure depression so I owuld say that only a healthy mind is the key to happiness and love.

g-day!
