This is my explanation of life:
To find the meaning of life we must find the meaning of death. If there was no life there will be no death, thus ending the meaning of life.So if there was no death there will be no life so their will be no meaning thus = no life.My conclusion:
Life is nothing.Life is nothing more than an illusion, death will never occur since we'll never know we existed when we die. Thus proving their is no life, thier is no death, their is no nothing. That only me and space exists.Nothing else matters. Now for the *slow* ones who don't understand what I'm saying, life is nothing more than an illusion compared to a dream. When you wake up from a dream nothing will matter. You won't know. You'll simply won't be there. You won't know anything.Your just like a thought.Unimportent and useless. You guys get me?:)?

.... You go on about how life is nothign without death. Then later you assume death isn't real. You never told us how you came up with the conclusion death isn't real. Life's definition contains like 7 things that something must have to be alive. And things do contain them..... Even if "death and life" aren't real, you admitted that things still exist ("Your just like a thought"). So than you admit these things DO exist. Now we have these things that exist, and we have this definition of life. Some of these things that exist fullfill all requirements to be considered alive, so there, we have life. Conciousness is NOT a requirement of life.....

Besides everything is important and should be treated. Even if there was an infinite heaven, our earthly life is still a part of our life. So we shouldn't neglect our earthly life, rather give it the attention deserved. This is also true for mind and body. A lot of times people only focus on one. :P I like the brainy people that use "mind over matter" as a defence. But the fact is we have BOTH mind and body, so why should we neglect one? Neglecting it is like saying we don't have it. But we DO have it, and should build it, giving more attention to the more important of the 2.

You're close. But just because it is an illusion doesn't mean it doesn't matter. We are here learning and experiencing life to take back to the collective consciousness where we are part of source. Even the Bible talks about waking up from this dream when we die. Deepak Chopra wrote some books on the subject, look him up.
good luck.

Could be, since none of us are offered any guarantees of life after death, despit the bully pulpit. We live...illusion or life or real life, what is the difference? The point is, are you aware enough to see you and everyone else as a pawn in an elaborate cage.

Is it logical? Yes in some peoples opinion but mainly depends on their defination of logic.

My defination of logic states that that is not logical because then our existence doesn't matter. Which doesn't make sense because everything has a reason. An apple falls down not up because of gravity. We are here for a reason and just because we dont know what it is doesn't mean we should just give up and do nothing.

What we should do is figure out what were doing here and what it all means. Then if it still means "nothing" then you prove em wrong. Thats what makes us human.. thats what makes us different from animals.

How do you compare illusion and dream? Your logic is radically faulty, if not altogether absent. Descartes did a far better job of radical solipsism, try reading and studying a bit of philosophy before you go about spouting such inanities. Also learn to spell and distinguish between their and there, and don't call your readers "slow", many are moving much faster than you can imagine.

You made sense until you reached the part about life being an illusion. It isn't an illusion.

We can sense things. Energy and matter exist. Therefore this is not an illusion.

Your logic is fine, there's beginning, there's end and vice versa. But i don't take that part life is an illusion, life is real- success or fall, triumph or failure, the relief or pain, the love and the hate. Life's is not a dream, if it end, it end. Wake up! Illusion belongs to those who lost their reasoning and mental health!

Yes, I get you, and I do not agree. The reasons for death are not hard to find. The reasons for life, pretty easy. Why we are given the gift of life, now THAT is the question. If you are having trouble finding a purpose for your life, that is understandable, everyone wonders that. It is up to you to find the answer to that question. It is as different as people are.

all i see life as is a way to eventually advance society and understand more questions like this and others. i compliment you on your theoretical understanding of life, but i consider it much more then a dream or an illusion due to the fact that we are aware of our surroundings most of our lives.
