The only ones I feel that are leading meaningless lives are the ones who cause misery towards others, in every way, shape and form. That includes random acts of terror, rapists, child molester, animal abusers, murderers, I could go on, but you know who I mean.

If we are living meaningless live, than there is no point in making things better. After all meaningless is like a void, no matter what you do, it will still be a void. So trying to "make the world come together" wouldn't do a bit of difference to our lives.

The fact is you have a pessimistic outlook on life -.-. Things are NOT falling away. People have thought the world would end very soon for a long time! But so far it hasn't. Why do you need a meaning? YOU LIVE! Don't ignore the fact that you live. And because you live you must focus on living, because it exists! Lacking attention on living is pretty much saying you don't live -.-.

Now to answer your question..... I don't find strength to continue. There is no need! It is like saying "where do you find a motor for your boat that is already heading down stream with the wind blowing in its sails." IT'S NOT NEEDED! The current and win is already providing the force to push the boat down stream! So to is life. Flow!

I continue because I will be gone long before the world is "broken". My life is not meaningless if I choose to try to not make it meaningless. I do not want to throw away everything I had done in my life.

Just because you are in the world doesn't mean you have to be a part of it. If you take a deep breath an look around at your immediate world you will see more good than bad. It all depends on what you choose to focus on the most. Your reality? Or the reality the media presents to you?

The most important decision that we would ever make is "whether we believe in a friendly universe" - A. Einstein.

Just have faith in the friendliness of the universe and a belief that the sum total of all the experiences of your life- past and present, is to teach you something invaluable for your future.

"Don't miss out on the lessons of the universe".

Have you ever heard the story of the old man walking the beach and throwing starfish in the ocean. Another man, told the old man, he couldn't save all the starfish. THe old man, then picked up a starfish, threw it in the ocean, and looked at the other man, and said "No I can't. But I just saved that one" To answer your question, No we can't save the whole world, but we can help our own world and those we interact with everyday. Its only meanigless if you give up.

Rather than follow any popular doctrine of our day or time we must be grounded in something. For me that is my church and its teachings. That gives me the strength to continue.

The world is falling apart... not we! The form of a human being is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. The stage of human beings is reached after crossing through 7.3 million manifestations in the insect, plant and animal form. In the human form alone we have 1.1 million manifestations.

Every human being is primarily a soul atman that has manifested the body to work out its karma... eradicate the impurities within! As the metal within an ore cannot purify itself on its own... the soul atman also requires an external body to remove the dross within. It is only as a human being the soul atman within reaches the last leg of cosmic life.

When a human being gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) all is over for the soul atman within... one finally reaches the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cosmic life cycle! Only as human beings one gains enlightenment... never in the insect, plant or animal form! Gaining enlightenment and reaching the stage of salvation (moksha) is the end goal of every life!

Never from heaven or hell can the soul atman gain entry into the abode of God... the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)! Only in the human form the soul atman within regains its original pure pristine form! Reaching the 8.4 millionth manifestation signifies the soul atman within gaining liberation from the cycle of birth and death forever.

Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed were all commoners in their life. They traveled the spiritual path and gained enlightenment and salvation in their lifetime. Having reached the human form... there is not much to fear! We simply need to crossover the ocean of Samsara (worldly life) by cutting across the five senses and the mind.

Traveling the spiritual path may not be the goal of many! God Almighty destined human beings to reach the stage of enlightenment in 1.1 million manifestations... a life cycle of 12.1 million earthly years! We definitely have a long way to go. Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path and gain enlightenment within this life!

The strife we observe in day-to-day life also existed during the times of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed. Life loses its meaning if we do not have a goal in life. When 13 years of age I decided to go in search of God! None to guide... I traveled the uncharted path of spirituality all alone... scared and fearful!

How many times I had to eat hell for breakfast... how many contemplations of suicide... and what not! I finally realized God in 1993. Having come face-to-face with God Almighty... I can now commune with God on one-to-one basis every second of my life. I have reached the Mount Everest of my spiritual pursuit.

Every human being shall one day gain enlightenment and finally salvation! This is the crux of cosmic life! Only then our soul atman within liberate forever from the cycle of birth and death. We can start right now or many manifestations henceforth. It is simply immaterial! Our strength always comes from our soul atman within.

In my journey of life... the sweet small inner voice of my soul atman that seemed to come from within the heart always guided me on the right path. This voice can be distinctly heard by one who travels the path of absolute truthfulness. The voice of our soul atman is the ultimate controller and governor of life... we have nothing to fear!
