If you've ever seen or known someone with Alzheimer's you'll understand my response to this question: When you no longer have your proper mind functioning . . . .you have no personality, you haven't a clue how you feel or how to express it, no memories and no communicative skills anymore either and therefore the spirit of life (or personality), the essence or individuality of that person is as blank as a piece of paper like their identity is being erased a little at a time.
I'd say in all honesty I might've responded differently to this question earlier on in my life, but I now say the mind is the hardest thing to open because I believe it is the seat of the soul, the collector of all that we truly are outside of blood & flesh & bone and so much deteriorating matter.
Our thoughts, our memories, our experiences, all we've learned and come to believe and how we live out what we know and have experienced, the choices we make, the decisions we make, our beliefs, our moral compass, our character, are all in our minds.
We also have a feeling mind, a reasoning mind, a critical thinking mind, an emotional mind, a creative mind, a destructive mind, an ego, etc., and all these parts of us operate in our mind.
Any wonder so many books have been written about the power of the mind. It is truly who we are as persons. Our bodies make us human. Our minds make us people expressing a spirit within us.
Revelation happens when that mind is enlightened and opens up to the power of the world inside and becomes aware of it's true nature, and uses its power and ability to change the world on the outiside to match it.
There can be no revelation for a mind that is closed off in fear and denial or is damaged.
But to open a mind is to change the world.

The soul is the deepest, the heart is the easiest if not cold and hard, for it may be broken, the mind is the most necessary, but some are so shallow it would be impossible to tell if they did open. I would say that if one were open all would be, so the question lies in which one is the key to an individual personality. This would vary widely, so there is not one answer. If one even manages to open a shallow mind it will inevitably deepen from the things that would enter. The hardest of hearts once broken, becomes open if it doesn't scar. The soul aware of its depth and present to the consciousness is open by virtue of being alive. Unfortunately there are a lot of people walking around with dead souls, since a soul must be open to be alive.

The mind is the hardest to open. The heart and soul are emotional and always open to whatever may come their way. The mind, however, has to think and rationalize.

The soul is the mind. The mindless are the soulless. Our hearts are the emotional influence on the mind. We like to think that we have control over our mind and soul. And to some degree we do. However, if we have been hurt in the past, our hearts can cause us to open and close seemingly with a mind of its own.

the hardest to open is mind cause it's very difficult to understand what a person is thinking, it's intentions, wishes, etc.and more hard is to get into a woman mind. heart can be open very easily especially when people are hearted, they want to say everything which has hearted their heart, soul no need to open cause i think you know a person from it's soul if it's a good or a bad person, all will show it's soul, people can touch and hurt your heart but not your soul.

The hardest to open,to me is the Mind, because I am a very stubborn lady, when someone tells me of something that happened, I have to see to believe, and when I give an opinion even though they say it is wrong I would not Budge. The Heart, always is the easiest to conquer, when you see a Little Baby so innocent and vulnerable it melts my Heart. The soul, is something I do not know about, we all have souls so, it is a subject that only each individual would know what to answer.

A heart can recover from being hurt but can't survive without love and a soul is always open to everything in this world and others, but a Mind is the Hardest thing to open. My husband and I have knowledges of philosophy, culture, and a lot of other information. However, whenever we open our mouths to share our knowledge with other people, we find that people get bored through long-winded conversations. So, I know from experience that people's minds are the very hardest thing to open. I mean, people are so caught up in their beliefs and the way their parents taught them to believe. You'll never find a person who is willing to change their thoughts or beliefs unless you have proof.

I say the mind. If you can reach and open the mind, the heart and soul are often not far behind. Also, once a person's mind is made up, it's difficult to change or open it again.

An interesting question. I believe the soul is the hardest to open because the soul of the human can only be opened when you are already in eternity.

Well, with the right surgical tools, the heart and mind should be no problem opening, you just have to put some muscle into it.
But the soul? Well, there's no knife to cut into that, so I'd say that's the hardest to open.
