Pretend you had unsurpassed power. Say, for instance, you could travel back to the creation of the universe and change the future. Imagine that you could create life, in any dimension, in any shape for any due time. What would you do? Would you make the world look like Simpsons characters or political cartoons? Would you make the universe a computer? Tell me, in great detail, what your world/universe would be like.

You asked a fair question and deserve a fair answer, but I have one huge caveat:
Playing God is an act of hubris, and I don't think that's a good idea.

Having said that, I cautiously and humbly say that I'd do exactly what the God of the Judeo-Christian Bible did, but I'd leave out the bad decision regarding the apple. Humans would live forever in peace and in harmony with each other, with the animals and plants and with the planets, and the Earth would be a Garden of Eden forever.

(As for free will, Adam and Eve would have made the CHOICE not to have eaten the fruit, and all would be well.)

In sum:
I'm not playing God, am I? I'm suggesting that all be as God planned it. The only change I'd make would be to reverse the bad free-will choice of the first human beings.
:-)

God is not what you believe it to be! God does not have the human form! It is a cluster of primordial celestial cosmic energy... much beyond the comprehension of most human beings! The prime reason why the entity of god can only be known by one who gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)! God Almighty is also the Creator of all things ephemeral.

Whatever exists in the cosmic system... it is not built by God Almighty! Everything exists since times immemorial! God Almighty is a mighty computer preprogrammed for every feature that exists in the cosmic system. On the earthly plane... human beings invent and discover! In the cosmic domain everything exists from the beginning of time! Human beings simply unveil!

As per the doctrine of karma we reap what we sow... Nothing more or less! In the field of computers also we work on the same premise. WYSIWYG is the fundamental principle of computers. Nothing in the cosmic system is disordered at any stage. All is the result of a system that cannot err! Everything in the cosmic system is logical and without an excuse!

Nothing in the cosmic system is based on ifs and buts! The smallest particle... the smallest bug... the bacteria and the virus has a work to perform! Every individual entity in the Cosmos has a purpose in life! The cosmic system is not a world of make believe! As is the karma performed... so are the results! Our present becomes the future! I don't think I could improve upon it. Anything I contemplate would tip the balance and point the world toward destruction.
Hmmm...No war (then we'd no longer have free will)
Hmmm..No disease ( then we'd become overpopulated)
Hmmmm. No pain, suffering or death (we'd not appreciate health or life and human development would cease)

But I might set it up so that after this life I evolve into a blue whale and after that one a Queen of some great nation and after that a genuis and .....etc

I know that whatever I'd do it'd still end up the same, because I couldn't stand a mechanical world which had no possibility for love freely given or necessity for that love in the face of adversity. God didn't make any mistakes.

To have power is different from using it. A person that has all powers in the world but does NOT use/misuse it is more powerful than everyone else.

Coming to your question, I will not use it.

Honestly.... I would probably mess around at first xD Make funny things happen, but when that is done, i will make everything back to how it was. Surely if I were to change something in this universe it would make it different and probably worse.

sounds like a lot of work. i think i would make humans a little more stupid so that they wouldn't be able to create such devastating situations for themselves. blissfully ignorant...?
i guess there is no perfect world with (or without) free will. hmmm... i think the solution is to stick with creating all animals minus humans. and i wanna be a poisonous frog in the jungle.

My universe would be very uniform. Everything would operate under one system. These systems would build up another system, and another, and so forth. (Think of cells, tissues, organs, organisms.)

But if this universe were to be similar to our own, it would be comprised of ancient people. They would understand secrets of the universe in which they live. They'd be able to fathom anything.

All species of insects that bite humans would wind up with a lethal gene, causing them to go extinct. Goodbye to malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, bubonic plague, Lyme disease, and a host of other ills.

Dude, that is too hard of a question. I believe that G-d did a good job, I wouldn't have done things any different. And, I wouldn't make people look like Simpson's characters, we look good now.
