Have u ever regretted letting a good friend of urs go.
I just told my friend that I need sometime alone for myself bcoz I have a lot of things on mind and she tried explaining me things in her own way but I was not satisfied. It was like I had this that I will maintain distance with her and I just wanted that at any cost.

I was thinking all negative about her and I was not sure whether I am right to think anything bad of her or is it my mind that is on fault.
Now when I made distance I am feeling like I did a mistake.
Did I make any mistake?

i always seem to be reliving moments.. for example i was watchin tv when my remote fell and my channel was flipped to this movie and my brother screamed and yelled out something about football in the other roomm.. and right then i had a flashback of the exact same situation happening beforehand or so sometimes this feeling that this exact time, moment, has reoccurred again in a twist of fate... is this deja vu?.. or am i going insane?/

If everything is caused by something else, then by this induction, the universe had no beginning. Somebody help me make sense of this.

I'll take any answer, be it religious or scientific.

Why is it that of all animals, on earth, we find the most natural elements of our existence so repulsive. For example, defication in public, urinating in public, vomiting in ...., having sex in ...... farting in......These are all natural and should not elicit humiliation and self depreciation.

a man named Behe, dissects Darwin’s natural selection theory by using his irreducibly complex system of the humble mousetrap. All the pieces of the mousetrap have to be in place before you can catch any mice. In comparison, during the process of natural selection, the systems involved must already be intact for the process to function.
Behe seems to have no insight as to how Intelligent Design is created. You can not compare any kind of human design to a Design that is intelligently made. I don’t think Behe realized that the trap could be broken down and used for other things besides its inteneded pourpose. (ex the bottom of the mouse trap could be used as a paper weight)

I am doing a poetry project and i choose e.e cummings. I decided that i would choose the poem I carry your heart with me.
Here it is
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Can anyone help me understand this poem? what is he referring to? What is the meaning? And what is the theme of it?

serious answers please

Where do you stand on this idea of the 'future?' Are you visualising that which you bring about or are you standing there on an inflow, leaving it to 'fate' as something you can't imagine to change, being bullied and victimised by it?

Lastly, if this does apply, why would one enjoy the idea of leaving it to fate over having a vision and creating that into a reality?

Though I am not considering getting a girlfriend whatsoever I have encountered a lot of intellectuals who are flustered by their failure to have the girl they WANT - WANT them. Some of them are great looking guys who are leaders of famous organizations in my university - in addition to that they are held in high regard by most people because of their brilliance and leadership abilities. They are great guys, they have everything a girl could want - even money! But it seems like they always get beat up by athletic bums, party boys, and rich junkies!

I have already figured an answer to this, but I just thought there might be great ideas out there that could add to the explanation of this rather odd phenomenon.

_____

I only welcome well thought of answers. I will give thumbs up to great answers, while I will STRICTLY reward bad answers with a thumbs down!

Put aside strictly psych categories, or rote responses about assumed perceptions of self worth. Isn't ego more beautifully created by engaging a poetic spontaneity that identifies with the now in a free form? Entering into an activity with your borders a bit fuzzy. Allowing the other of events to permeate with a richer presence. Then retaining in orbit what is comfortably stimulating until it either draws closer to permanence or drifts away forgotten.
