Plain and dirty and do something. It is the plain, dirty folks that are the backbone and legs of civilization. The nice looking people who do nothing owe that privilege to the workers of the world and should kiss their feet.

I'd rather be plain and dirty and do something. It's when I look down at the dust and grit that I realize that I have done a good day's work. What is the point of staying all nice looking and having nothing to show for it? I would trust a person who just came off the oilfield and was covered in oil than I would a person dressed in a suit. Then again, that could be my Texas upbringing.
