Words are nasty. More so than sticks and stones, because you can heal up those wounds.
I'm guessing that you're having trouble with someone who has not been saying the kindest things. Leave them alone and go far away.
It's been proven that words are just as harmful. They just hurt emotionally. They're harder to get over. Try to talk to someone who will listen to you. That ought to help you out.
Yes, words can break a heart if you take them that way. Try not to. Just find someone who can understand.
And try to heal up those wounds from the words.

Yes. I think that they can break your heart and hurt you inside and out more then any stones could...they only say that because they are giving the message that we should be oblivious to what ppl say and ignore them.
