I'd rather be the worst of the best. At least being included with the best would put me in good company. The best of the worst, well that sounds like I'd be a pretty bad person.

I rather be the worst of the best because I am still among the best.
However, if I choose the best of the worst, that means I will be among the worst.

last year i was the very best of some of the worst, and this year i'm one of the very worst of the very best,
and i gotta say, i can't really tell if i like one better than the other... best of the worse is certainly more rewarding immediately

good question. I would rather be the worst of the best. It is more dignified to belong to the best group even if they trail me over.
