Many people think that they are free, I mean they have the freedom to choose, to work and to make what ever they like. I think most of human societies these days are controlled by mass media and stereotypes, in other words they are imitators of certain types presented by authority.
How can we find the limit of our freedom?

Im a young christian, and have not been through great hardship or suffering, but i simply do not see the point in life. I feel very little motivation to continue living, and wonder if this is a widespread feeling, or if other people have some powerful motivation. Many say love or religion, but i believe i have experianced both (i am a devout christian and have a girlfriend), and neither one makes me feel i want to continue living. That being said, i fully appreciate the fortune i have in being healthy, provided for, and having all the caring people around me, but none of that gives me a reason for living.

So with this belief, logically, life shouldnt be worth living. I have contemplated suicide, but am held back solely by fear of pain of dying and the unknown. So, i ask, what makes other people continue living, and do the majority of people feel the way i do?

* Hope for the best, but expect the worst
* Only God can judge me
*Suck it up buttercup
* I know what I am, and I know what I'm not and I'll be damned if anyone tells me different

I am interested in the Buddha religion and wondering if anyone is Buddha, practices Buddha, or can tell me a bit more about the religion. What is it you practice, and why did you either chose to practice, or if you were born into the religion, do you continue to practice?

I believe we all think or deliberate about things, issues, ideas and matters, and when you do, how do you know that you have thought through things well enough? Do you feel a sense of satisfaction, for example, or you reach a point where you simply cannot go further in anything? Place this especially in the context of practical philosophy, where your thoughts are supposed to influence the way you go about doing things in life.
