I read some "time" ago that the perception of time arises from entropy occuring in the brain. Has anyone else read anything about this?

“Recall that male passengers on the Titanic agreed to give up their places on the lifeboats for women and children. If there were a similar life-or-death situation today, do you think men should be expected to die and allow women to live?”
Just curious what you think.

morals is purely subjective. what is right and wrong to one person may not be the same for another. so how is it that the morals they choose to follow are the ONLY morals worth following? it seems as though they blindly follow a book written thousands of years ago that tell us humanity started with a man and a woman created from his rib!!! and a tree of sin and a talking snake. the bible also tells us that women should be submissive and is "complimentary" for men. so how is it that this doctrine can be looked at as a valid source of reasoning by any means? there are no definitive rights and wrongs. morality is a concept that exists within the beholders subjective ideals. its simply not objective.

if you have an arguement i would like to hear it, the only condition is that you dont use the bible or any other religeous doctrine as evidence to back your opnions or claims.

why is that people always use the bible as their argument for the reason people shouldn't be gay when they don't even believe in the bible. it's like one day they argue the bible int true and the next use it as their ammo? ('adam n eve not adam n steve')

I pulled this bird last night and she tied me up. I've managed to turn my laptop on and type this message with my tongue. HAs anyone got any ideas how i can safely remove this strangely large pool of jib from my keyboard using only house hold items but without the added benefit of limbs.

What does man love more than life, Fear more than death or mortal strife, What the poor have, the rich require, And what contented men desire, What misers spend, and spendthrifts save, And all men carry to the grave?

This is an actual question on a University of Liverpool chemistry final exam. One student received an A for his witty answer, which has been widely dispersed over the internet. The answer is at least R-rated, thoughtful, and funny. You can read it at the following link:

I just wonder if this can be, that somebody sends you loving energy. I seemed to have experienced that and I wonder if other people have experienced that. I realise that prayers can do this and Masaru Emoto, even was able to photograph the effects of prayer on water.
I sometimes felt if somebody sends me love as if this energy makes me calm. Does anybody has some thoughts about that?
