You might have a short attention span, or maybe you just haven't found something you really, truly love doing. I also find that I get distracted even from things I enjoy focusing on when I'm stressed or have a lot on my mind. If you set aside a certain amount of time to do an activity, so you know you'll still have time for the other things you need or want to do, you might be less distracted and be more able to forget about other things during that time.

Some people would call it ADD, I call it getting used to things quickly. I have the same problem. I really enjoy something, but it gets boring part of the way through. It's even worse when I don't want to do it. However, the physiological concept of flow is important here. If you just flow along with things, life will get pretty boring. However, if you over-analyze everything, then you can easily get depressed (especially since there is so much bad to think of.) In any case, you just have to learn to accept life as it is. As to your thinking that it won't be good enough, just understand that it's not all black and white. You don't have to be perfect or nothing. Just do the best you can, and if you think you can do better, then give yourself a time limit. It might not be perfect, or even good, but something is always better than nothing. I don't think there is anything wrong with you, you are just a product of our times; the era where everything is instant, and nobody is, or stays, satisfied.

Hmmm, perhaps you need to slow down a bit, do some more reading, meditate, but find things with substance. I think you might've lost interest all together & need to search deeper, look into your soul, (soul searching) and write down the things that you may find unfulfilling & do something to cure the problem, sometimes when we've done things that were somewhat superficial this tends to happen, because something lacking, something with meaning and substance, therefore we must go after it. There is so much to stuff worthwhile going after. You'll feel much better if you help others in any way you can. (doing some volunteer work is fulfilling) you'd have to find an organization that may interest you.

There's nothing wrong with feeling that there's nothing good enough. In fact it could even tell you that you're a perfectionist.
Besides, if one thing is not good enough, you have an "eye" for things whether it could be better or not.
Plus, when you get bored easily when it's something you love doing, it just tells us that greater challenges would suit you better.
Have a good day.

I feel the same way. I sometimes think its ADD or something, but I'm just so free spirited I guess, I just can't do one thing for super long. I've had my job for 2 years now and I'm already bored and it is a dead end job, so I'm actively looking. Whether its knitting or even reading, I'm constantly looking for something else to do. Kind of like wanting to dip my toes into everything out there. I might not make sense... I hope you get the just of it.

No dude nothing is wrong wrong with you i feel that you are imposing yourself for doing things which fall under the "I LOVE" category in your brain. All you need is a good night sleep and a change. i feel you must have not gone out for vacations for too long. forget work. forget responsibilities. forget doing anything.
just go out .enjoy a good vacation. some tourist spot or adventurous place.n you shall experience the Bliss of life.
ALL YOU NEED IS A CHANGE. ;)

Your expectations of yourself are on an extremely high standard. Also you are a perfectionist. You would not get bored if you would be satisfied with what you already accomplished, as you would not be correcting, and analyzing the same thing over, and over again.

You are not bored you are becoming repetitive numb. You need to take short breaks from anything you are doing to refocus on the surroundings.
Look around; here it comes; I just can't get my meditation to stay off the line off inspiration. Brings me to some solicitation, wonder why bedroom isn't a nation. Just look around, it could be fun. Here it comes...
