Atheists, if you can believe that there is no God and that the World, with all it infinite beauty and sciences just happened...then my friends YOU HAVE MORE FAITH THEN US CHRISTIANS...
I propose the following to you, if you take a wrist watch with all its intricacies and you take out all the parts, needles screws etc. Then you go to the highest point you can imagine-like take a plane or even a spacecraft and from this point drop all the parts of the watch-would you believe that the watch could come together and be totally functional as if you had not taken it apart.

I don't think many is not anyone would say yes! So how can you say the word just came about???? Surely logic says there is a God.

For all the philosophers out there.See Pascal's Wager!! The great philosopher himself concluded that it makes logical sense to believe in God.

I was opening a fresh jar of strawberry jam this morning and I thought - ''My God, how would my grandmother open this?'' It's the same with a lot of household goods, they are just so very difficult to open. How do the packing companies reconcile themselves with making life so difficult for old or sick or weak people. There are other ways of packing things to keep them fresh, and also to enable people to reuse the containers after the product has been consumed. Isn't it time something was done about this?

Today I was asked by a person the following question. "What can I do? The problems I have just seem to be so deep with in my soul I don't know where to start. There are so many issues, I feel overwhelmed and do not know how to deal with this without help".
I indeed can relate myself to what this person told me. I received here in yahoo a fantastic answer for a question. Part of it was the following: "As we slowly learn to focus on the inside of ourselves, looking within, to slowly dissolve our negative mental factors which "cause" our dissatisfactions/sufferings in life, we will learn how to unconditionally love all people, without having selfish, conditional attachments to them."
I indeed feel that this is so true, but would like to know if somebody has some practical ideas how to support this process?

the doctrine that matter is inseparable from life, which is a property of matter.

if so, do you believe that every thing in the universe is alive in some way (animals, snow storms, high-backed chairs, rocks, etc.) or do you believe that everything is part of a single universal living organism?

or is it both of these things at the same time?

If you do not belive in hylozoism please explain why.

there are so many theories that show the impossiblilty of life being an illusion and that only you are real.

but is the ONLY reason that we cant know for sure is because we can directly experience what another person is experienceing? but other than that its wrong and fataly flawed correct?

I've noticed that many so-called "liberals" are just as bigoted and narrow as the people they criticize and oppose, just about different things.

Did the T-Rex alive 65 million years ago think about the kind of world it was leaving behind when it was it was eating another dinosaur? Or even when it was dying. Did it worry that its ofspring would not have enough meat to live?

Why then is humanity so obsessed with environmental issues, recycling and some humans even forgo meat to impress others.

Who cares what happens in a hundred years or even a million. We will all be dust by then. We are tought to care about the environment our ofspring will live in, yet they are not taught to care about the environment we die in.

Pollution and the environment is the next generations problem, not ours. If I die at 45 will my ofspring really care about wether I get 1st class private ticket to the end or a second class budget ticket?

Deppressing thoughts for a 26 year old, but its the truth. The media trains us to care about the next generation, not informing us that all they will want is our money.

“Life... is like a box of chocolates; a cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Un-returnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this un-definable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.”

i got this quote off an episode of the X-Files... what do u all think of this mindset?

Which would you choose if you only had these three options:

Option 1:
To love another and not be able for physical reasons be able to have them love you in return. These physical reasons may include paralysis, neurological fault or similar ONLY!

OR

Option 2:
Be phyically unable to love at all. This means unable to feel love from within for another or without from someone else.

Or

Option 3:
Death.

The point of this question is to understand the majoritys perception of the minority so please answer within the bounds of the question only unless expanding on a point.

(P.S. don't say that it is impossible, because it's not)

Thanks in advance.

"If you walked by a street and you was walking on concrete and you saw a rose growing from out of the concrete, even if it had messed up petals and it was a little crooked to the side, you would marvel at just seeing a rose grow through concrete. So why is it that when you see some ghetto kid grow out of the dirtiest circumstances, and he can talk, and he can sit across the room and make you cry, make you laugh, all you can talk about is my dirty rose, my dirty stems and how I’m leaning crooked to the side? You can't even see that I've come up from out of all that."

what do u have to say to that? pac was referring to HiMSELF as that rose... what do u all think of his ideology? is he right? is this a fair comparison? just wondering what u all think. i agree with tupac completely but i'd like to hear others' thoughts on it. thanks and have a nice night!
