Why does life require an answer (let alone The Answer)? This implies that therre is a single compelling question that we — or someone else — must answer. I think that this is a prime example of hubris — whatever type of presupposition your philosophy starts with. If one is essentially a materialist, realist, secularist trying to frame the question is either meaningless or impossible, hence searching for the answer is a waste of resources better develoted to something less generalized and grandiose. If, on the other hand, one's philosophical presupposition tends to religion or spiritualism, raising this question is presumptious: only God (or nature) knows the question or the answer.

I like (and often quote) Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes's comment on this class of question (the Answer to Life, the Menaing of Life, and similar portentious stuff): "Life is an end in itself. The only question about life is whether you have enough of it."

As was flat earth science of old, so is today's science. Just look at the layers in the grand canyon. You'll see that there is no errosion in the layers. They are smooth and contain different minerals. So did different minerals just spontaneously appear? Was there no errosion over millions of years. This is not even the tip of the iceburg. What is most popular is what scientist are selling, and that would be denying God. No blame since most people have heard the wrong ideah about Him. I say again "heard." A lot of people talk, but never study, or care about the absolute truth. I do, and realize that most people are skeptical, but I challenge you to see within yourself, if you really want to know the truth. Most people aren't brave enough. check out amazingfacts.org and icr.org

According to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, researchers from a pan-dimensional, hyper-intelligent race of beings constructed the second greatest computer in all of time and space, Deep Thought, to calculate the Ultimate Answer to the Great Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything. After seven and a half million years of pondering the question, Deep Thought provides the answer: "forty-two." The reaction:

"Forty-two!" yelled Loonquawl. "Is that all you've got to show for seven and a half million years' work?"
"I checked it very thoroughly," said the computer, "and that quite definitely is the answer. I think the problem, to be quite honest with you, is that you've never actually known what the question is."

So the answer is 42.

Why do think of life as a question? Only a question needs an answer. I like to think of life as a journey and a series of opportunities.

Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't. You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted. In the end, I always come up with one good definition of what life REALLY is: Life’s a b*tch, and then you die. As Tupac once said, "If you can't find something to live for, you best find something to die for." So life is whatever u make it- YOU decide what life is for YOU- don't ask others, seek the answer within urself.

Living life to the fullest and do what you feel is the right thing to do and do not listen to other people, because if you do, you will be listening to other people for the rest of your life and never truly make your choices.

There is no answer to life, it is how you live the question, which is far more important!

The answer to life is being certain of what you believe and certain where you're going after you die. If you have Christ in your heart and accepted him as your Savior, then you have assurance of your eternity.

"Life isn't meant to be impossible to understand. We should be able to recognize God's fingerprints in our lives. It is then up to us to decide whether we will cooperate with what He is doing, both in our hearts and in our world. "--Bruce Wilkinson
