That your at a big amusement park and everyone around you has happily found a ride to get on, but you. The only time you seem to talk to them is when they are trying to decide which ride to go on next. But, you never seem to be happy with any of the rides thus you just stand around waiting for more people to come off their rides. What do you make of my metaphor? Does it make sense to you?

Philosophy is the root of every science. It asks the question "why" about aspects of life, and we then seek the answers. Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, etc. all started from asking "why" something works the way it does. In early philosophy, the supernatural was used to answer most of the questions. The more we look for facts and judge evidence objectively, the less we chalk it up to "magic." Have we regressed in philosophy to where instead of an active search for truth and facts, it is a passive collection of proofless whims?

How aware are you of this actually happening?

Apparently, there are different breeds of creationists. They all agree that evolution is wrong. Some think that the earth is young, others think that there is geological evidence of the Flood. The Bible does say that God made the earth "immovable", and also makes reference to "the four corners of the earth."

and supposedly believe in the Golden Rule, actually backstab, play politics, judge, gossip, and screw over their neighbors worse than anyone else? Then they often knowingly twist and distort the truth to make themselves look righteous?

I am drawing this from a 36 year period living in the bible belt.

Teachers may be living, or dead...having left their understandings to us in words recorded by their followers, or in their own writings. Inward guidance may come by intuition, as answer to prayer, as a knowingness that was not arrived at by use of the mind.

God created Hell so that the people that didn't love him had someplace to go. If you love money more then God you might go to hell. God loves us no matter what we do, but if we don't love him he won't force us to go to heaven. We also have a great misconception of heaven. Heaven is worshipping God for all of eternity, if you don't want to worship God now why would you after you die.

God asks us if we want to go to heaven not if we want to go to hell.

Heriarchy means order of rank. Many children and teens in gangs have actually developed it from animals e.g. Wolves which live in packs. But then does this mean that children have a more complex heirarchy than animals. (apart from ants- which is very complex)

To me, survival of the fittest is more of a proverb. Its not just for animals, it can also be applied to humans as well- e.g. humans that have the more luxurious life will have a better chance of surviving than those who sleep on the streets
