Current definition of "artificial intellence" equates artificiallity with "machine construct". There is not anything that we would currently see as a "machine" within the human body, so no, there is no chance that we are an "artificial intelligence" by that definition.
If the question is "is there an intelligence within humans" that is not simply organic, my answer changes slightly, because I do believe in the human soul that exists within and later independently of the organic body that once housed it. In essence that soul is sort of the "ghost in the organic machine", but that intelligence isn't "artificial" (constructed) either.
So again, my answer is no... no AI in humans, at this point.

That depends on what you mean I suppose. Is humanity one great computer like in hitchikers guide to the galaxy? Was our evolution somehow manipulated by an alien natural intelligence for some purpose other than mere self awareness? Or perhaps humanity is merely the sexual organ used for the creation and evolution of machines. That is assuming you consider humans to have intelligence to start with though;)

Yes I've thought about the same thing.
It technically is possible that an alien race were to become so advanced with computers etc, that they created us as a somewhat simulation.
They could have created our curiousness and skepticism and made reasons for it for us to believe.
I hate to say it but it is totally true.

What does "artificial" mean anyways? Created as an artifact or an object. Do you believe that humans were created artificially? By whom? Aliens? That's where the entire question becomes ridiculous.

You may be right! Human is self-programmable, self-learning, robot who can control and programmed to learn based on the experiences he face. A complex neuro-biological and physiological machine which can create its own replicates.

What a question... We are all AI until otherwise stated by what we have come to state in existance... If you mean to ask if we were planted here from another species or that we are inorganic...lol. Spare your time asking more meaningful questions :)

Our brains are made of organic materials, however the programming could have been done artifically.
