We must be careful in the way we spell God. A lower case g could be anything we make into our god ie money, people, possessions. When one is referring to satan as a god the spelling is done with a lower case g as well. When speaking of the Almighty God which is in Heaven we must always use a capital G. In answering your question with a question, Was there a God before Jesus came to this earth? In the Old Testament there are numerous references to God the Father in Heaven from Genesis to Malachi. If we look in the books of Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John we see Jesus making reference to His Father that is in Heaven. The apostles that spread the Gospel (the good news) made a distinction as well. Knowing this was the world without a God for those three days? The answer is no

You need to distinguish between God the Father and God the Son. God the Father is the Creator. God the Son is the Redeemer sent to the world. When Jesus died for 3 days, it was only His humanity and not His divinity. Although there are 3 persons in One God, these three are unique.

No there was still a God. God and Jesus are really two beings of the same essence which is the holy trinity (the holy spirit being the third). Its hard to explain, but its basically the all-in-one idea that Hinduism also kinda has, except there are three instead of millions. Anyway, so there was still a God, and if legend is correct, Jesus' spirit was still there beacuse it decended into hell... to confront evil if I remember correct, then after three days he rose again and ascended into heaven. So really, all three were always present through the whole situation, so there was always a God.

Jesus is both GOD and MAN. When He died upon the cross, He died in the sense that all men die. He gave up His human soul from His human body. Christians believe that the soul is immortal, so in that sense no one ever dies, albeit their body is consigned to the grave. In Jesus' case He also has a Divine nature which is God Himself and can not cease to be. So what happened at the cross, contrary to Islamic and Jewish assertions, is that the God-Man died. God died, since in Christ there is but one Person, the Divine Person, but two natures united in that Person without confusion. On the Cross, God died, ie, the God-Man, surrendering His human spirit to His Father and for three days, His human body to the tomb from which He rose again.

No . God is of three entities (three persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit). When it refers to him dying and rising on the third day, this was the visual body. During that time he was engaged in battle with Satin. During this time he over came "the bonds' of physical existence and left no doubt that he was the Son of God, The Messiah, the chosen one, the "Lamb of God" who came to take away the sins of the world allowing mankind the choice between spending eternity with him and the father or eternity in never ending fire where there is gnashing of teeth.

The world is without a God, when they no longer choose to acknowledge one. For, you only can experience God the way you believe he exists.
God is not some being in Heaven far away. God is in your heart. Jesus "commanded" us to love with all our hearts, for then we would be like him: heavenly minded. God is love.
If God is love...i say: we've gone without a god for more than 3 days, but that doesn't mean he doesn't exist. It is impossible for God not to exist. God supports the very structure of our universe. If God did not exist, neither would we.

no, this is due to the fact that God has 3 "personas", before you start a prayer, you do the sign of the cross right? and what do you speak, "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Jesus being dead for three days is just the prophecy that needs to be done to save us from our sins.

God and Jesus are not the same person. Jesus is thought of as God's son.

Jehovah God, the Almighty created heaven and earth with the help of his master builder and "only begotten" son Jesus. This means that God directly created Jesus then told him to build the rest...the universe . On the earth he made man and woman. they rebelled against Jehovah. So He placed on them that would carry over to all their offspring. Death of them and all of us followed. Jesus was brought to earth to live and die as a man while his father looked on from heaven. Jesus bought us back from God the lives of all of mankind with his sacrificial death. When Jesus died he was asleep in the grave for parts of 3 days and nights. He was ressurected back to life and walked the earth teaching his diciples for 40 days more before his ransom sacrifice was accepted...then came his asention to heaven to be with his father again. We were always in good hands.
