Philosophy - June 2006

This question is in context with the famous thought of the English philosopher- Davis Hume.

He said, "Market expansion makes us aware of others' lives and thus, expands our ethical horizon."

The quote is quite self explanatory but, I won't mind if all you wonderful people shed some more light upon it. :-)

Have you ever thought about the creation of the universe? Supposedly there was nothing, then there was a big bang and stars and black holes and space was born.

But if there was nothing.. just a void, then what created the bang? Where did all the space, stars, etc come from? I mean even God had to come from somewhere right? Where did he begin? How was he created? Who created god? Everything must have started somewhere at some point, but where did everything start? How did it all start if there was nothing to start it in the first place? It don't make sense!

Boggles my mind!

You could also assume not hearing the inner self is equally as bad as not seeing the inner self.

But how do we learn the most from the outside world? By hearing or by seeing? Which one has more value and what sould be the priority?
