Notice I'm asking this on Philosophy, not on Religions. And let me tell you I'm not suffering some lethal illness, or anything. And I'm only 35. I'm not obsessed with death, but how are you doing so far about the greatest mystery of all?

or do they rely on the anchors opinion, Im asking because I wanted to kill myself over the garbage anchors spit out, but then as I saw others spiting out that same garbage I wanted to take you all down, global terror, and I was serious, i wanted to blow up the world, untill i turned the channel and laughed a little bit, Im back normal*whimpering* I was at my brink but now Im back, Oh and Im really talking about the news coverage of immergration reform, which is still going on, and the say video games premote violence, it doesnt, only media hog, know it alls do(thats why I love the daily show: with Jon Stewart, and of course the Colbret Report, because they speak the truth, even when there lieing, comedians gotta love em)

I have often found that many people say they want honesty, &conversationally discuss their desire for others to be truthful to/with them however I have observed that the aforementioned are seldom appreciated or wanted when faced with the reality of what truth, honesty & integrity really means & its consequences. Experientially I have found that most people will say “tell me the truth” however what many really mean is “Tell me what I want to hear as long as it suits me comfortably & by all means spear me the truth if its going to rub me the wrong way & make me uncomfortable”
Some say “be honest with me” they often mean “Tell me only enough to make me feel good &be happy or may the other person look bad but do not by any means shake my world &make me have to think or choose”
Insist on working with integrity however underlining are boundaries beneficial only to them mainly they mean to practice it with others & use discretion, words, actions, deeds when dealing with them.

...the death penalty, death with dignity or abortion rights?

I’m not saying that I’m a believer in any of these things but I’m just curious as to whether anyone else can see or appreciate the irony of these concepts in relation to each other. I’d be truly curious to hear what your reasoning is, if indeed you do believe in life after death (or reincarnation) and yet don’t believe in either the death penalty or abortion rights. I understand the appreciation for the value of life, but if there is something after this than why (in the case of death with dignity) forestall that which will inevitably happen, supplicate leniency on those condemned to die or cause the needless suffering of one more life for a family that cannot support one more child or worse.

I’m not trying to challenge your beliefs, merely playing devils advocate. For I believe in life first above all else, I just wish to know where you stand and how you came to that decision. I will also respect all views as well.

Just to state that My question has been troubling me for ages, I always wondered if it is possble for one man to consume an entire ocean of water, I know that some of you may say this is not possible due to the volume of our stomaches, but I have noticed on occasion I have drank ofer 4 litres of water and not rid my body of it, if you were to drink fast enough, could a man drink the ocean, please debate this.

I'm serious. Have you ever had a moment when you realized there was no reason that you should not have died. What stopped you from walking off the curb at the wrong moment? Why did you stop at a Green light only to have a speeding car careen through the intersection where you would have been if you hadn't stopped? its in my belief that video games dont have any effect on ppl, as much as people in their family does, and as I watch a re-run a the daily show with Jon Stewart and his bit on the senate attacking video games confirmed the fact, one of the senators said he was watching his six year old children play these video games and was horrifided by the game, the key word was watching. so where do you all stand on the subject
