In any society humans are trained and conditioned by what we see around us. The sheep will always go along with whatever the social norms are perceived to be by the majority. The Press, the government and of course RELIGION only serve to to make matters more extreme. Violence is all around you. We absorb it with breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the morning it's the news about the latest deadly crash on the freeway. At lunch the news about the war. Just to make that sandwich more appetizing there's a couple of pictures of a burned dead body on the midday news. A quick dinner then it's on to the entertainment. What will it be tonight honey? the Death du Jour Tonight will be Tony Soprano shooting his cousin in the head or if you prefer something lighter a CSI salad with arsenic dressing on the side. Nighty night dear sleep well!! Lets do it all again tomorrow.
I think the truth is that most people deep down find this everyday relationship with death and violence repugnant. Unfortunatly they can't do anything about it and they become immune to it's effects. Instead, they focus on the moral issues that they can do something about. Nudity is an easy target. So are gay marriage, Harry Potter books in our schools, and single mothers. People as a group are not free thinking. They are sheep who follow the leader no matter how horrible and repulsive. Without this fundamental truth war in any form would be impossible.
Thanks for taking the time to ask!!
Nakedly yours

Because some guys would rather beat the crap out of you than show you that they have a small you-know-what. For the most part, women would rather have the men do the fighting than do it themselves and for the most part, the men oblige...
...And then you have those who want you to think that there is some ethical reason why the naked body is a bad thing. It might not be tasteful to have nudity everywhere but its not a crime either. Its all a matter of aesthetics, not morality.
Violence is definitely about morality and most definitely needs more attention. This is one of those stupid human moments where we need to give our head a shake and rearrange our priorities. C'mon now, we got over the fact that the Earth isn't flat now didn't we?

Nudity appeals to the locker room mentality which is in everyone. Violence demands that we grow up in order to deal with it. Some very hard questions would have to be faced. Millions of people die every year for little of nothing. It requires taking ownership and being responsible. Tittering is a lot easier.

I dunno! Seriously, we see our own bodies everyday, but our parents try to keep us away from violence, although thats kinda stupid, cuz if they really did not wish to encorage violence, they would not have more than one child...I mean , when was the last time you saw two siblings peacefully living together?Na, just kidding. But the food, the animals one our plates are pure violence. The war is violence.Do they tell their kids about war? About what happens? We should make a movie purly about the terror and horror of war, to fully embody it all, cuz the citizens of Idiot America simply do not seem to have the imaginations to image the horror, the desperation of War.The thing that does naught but make the weapons company rich and kills men women and children and soaks the earth in blood.

Are you referring to movies?
If so, nudity generates more questions out of the young ones that may happen to be around.
"What's that?", "How come I don't have 'this or that' ", "Why is 'this or that' so big?", etc.
And God forbid, they're doing anything of a sexual nature....generating an even different round of questioning! lol.
Violence is easier to explain. Children understand hate. And it can be a good opportunity to explain how one should NOT act. And why. They can see the consequences of violence.
Nudity and sexuality is more complex.

Humbly, I believe it may have to do with the fears and insecurities people have regarding their own body. Covering the body is like covering an ancient artifact of great value. Violence would be cut dramatically if more people were nude. After all, where would you hide the goodies?

Quite simply, people are more comfortable with violence than they are with nudity.
