Despite my preference that I would meet my departed loved ones after I am gone, I am certain that we I am gone I am gone. I hope I am wrong, but I see no evidence to support the notion of an afterlife.

I live what I believe is a good life and if I am rewarded again in the afterlife for my efforts then BONUS, but I am not holding my breath.

I think reincarnation is more credible. Take a look at history, many figures are repeated: Ghengis Khan, Napolean, Hitler, Bush and Mohammed, Jesus, Buddha, Ghandi. They all share very similar traits.
In education there has been found an innate knowledge base in even new-borns. Where does it come from?
I was in coma .4 (near-death experience) and all i remember is seeing a bright light, but my doctor told me afterwards that I gave him the biggest fright of his life when he was operating on me and I came out of coma with my head half open. Therefore, that light I saw might just have been the operating theatre's light!
If you ask my parents, I was reincarnated that day as my whole mentality changed overnight.
But really, we will never know until we die, and then it will be too late to undo the Karma you've built throughout your life.
Watch 'My Name Is Earl". It simplifies Karma but makes a very valid point.

Yes. I could go explain why but I don't feel like arguing with a bunch of people who just want to argue with me. But let me put it this way - seeing is believing. So is remembering. Yes, I believe
and know that there is an afterlife. Call me a nut... : )

Yes! The evidences for reincarnation or rebirth are just overwhelming. Read Dr. Ian Stevenson's "20 Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation". Check out 'Retrogressive Hypnotism'. The final verifiable test: Realize for yourself the fact 'Rebirth and Past Lives' through Meditation Practice.

Do you mean ghosts? Yes and no. There is no "this life" and "after life". Death is only the expiration of the physical body, which gets worn, and eventually, worn out, like old clothes. But the spirit, the soul, is eternal, and never dies. Its just that sometimes, when the current body expires, the soul wanders free, sometimes lost, with no place to go. Such discarnate entities are all around us. Some know they are without bodies (dead), some are confused, and do not. Some few of them are malevolent, but most are not.

Personally I have no idea of there is or there is no life after death. All I know so far is this life at the moment, to live it fully and not to worry about if there is or there is not life after death. When we die we shall know the answer to the question you ask. So be patient and don't let your question worry you so much. If there is a life after this, hope that it is a good one. If not, then nothing is lost but that you have become part of the Cycle of Nature Forever. Pick your choice.

Yes, I am sure. I am Moslem. Islam tell me there is a afterlife. It's very logical and interesting. See some book, no problem if you are in other religion, because all religion tell us about truth and honest.

Life is not a rehearsal; we only live once. When we do not cherish the opportunities we haf, they slip away into the shadows and wld most probably never knock on our door again. We only regret and reflect after disasters haf struck. We feel regretful over stuff that we could have done better or wat we did not do at all. However, it is no use crying over split milk. Sometimes, endings can signify a new beginning...
