Entry for August 27, 2006
I knew a man who searched fo peace each and
everyday,He searched almost everywhere, in the most
unusual ways.He searched for peace in a bottle, and
sometimes in ice cold cans,His search for peace took
him all across this beautiful land.Once he thought he
found it, it smoke,powder and pills,But this only left
him nervous, with a life that had no will.He began to
think of all the time and money,that he had thrown
away,And he began to realize in his search for
peace,there had been a big price to pay.

All his friends and family,the ones he'd come to
desert,When his eyes finally opened,he saw who had
really been hurt.He sat in complete silence,in a
lonely and dreadful place,And thought of all the wrong
he'd done,and a frown came over his face.He thought
his search was over,because he'd been locked away,Then
he got down on his knees,and he began to pray.Dear
Lord i've caused so much trouble,and hurt people in
everyway,My search for peace has caused heartache,each
and everyday.

He finally looked toward Heaven,and asked,where is
this place you hide,He waited for his answer,and
thought he'd been denied. As he knelt there praying,a
tear ran down his face, He asked for God's
forgiveness,and joy took sorrows place.Now God reached
down from Heaven,and did lay his gentle hand,And a
warm and cleansing feeling,came upon this weary
man.Now when you see this man today,he's happy,content
and free. This man I speak to you about,is no one else

i try out for this singing group early in the morning when my voice isnt warmed up yet.i have to sing this song w/ high notes but since it was early i couldnt go that high so i just sung on a low note.my teacher is like thats a pretty alto voice are u having trouble w/ the high notes or is it just b/c its early and im like its b/cits early.cuz in choir im the highest soprano and can actually hit all the notes.so then my teachers like well 2day sing w/ the altos and see how u like it and im like ok.so in choir i sing w/ them and then the next day i go back to the soprano part and hes like u sit over here and im like i thought that was just yesterday and hes like how did u like it and im like its2low and hes like its not that much lower.so hes made me into an alto.he knows im a soprano cuz ive had him for the last 5 years and he knows that i can sing high.even the other sopranos are like ur not an alto ur straining ur voice.wat can i do when he never listens2me telling him im not an alto

This question may belong in a pregnancy forum, but I figured that I'd get the responses I wanted over here. I'm a pianist/piano teacher, and my husband and I are about to start trying to get pregnant. I've got a girl's name picked out, Cadence Aria. My husband likes Cadence, but not Aria. I'd really like a beautiful, music-related middle name to go with Cadence. I thought about Cadence Harmony or Cadence Melody, but I don't really like those. I think Aria is beautiful, but my husband and I need something that we can both agree on. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!

hey! Well tomorrow i will be having my fist voice lesson with my teacher. what coud i except from her. WEll i also take piano with her. SO its suppsed to be 40 min piano and 20 min voice. so i have no idea. maybe you could tell what to excpet. Should i warm up before the lesson, cuz before the lesson i have choir practice and then i have to sing with my teacher for english mass. Please help thanks. And now ive been sing for about 2 weeks just with a stuffy nose, and I coudl sing and the duet is going well! THanks I could use any advice! Thanks

What are the different types of oils I should use? I have some thick, rotary oil and I'm going to get light, trumpet valve oil (thinking Al Cass Fast) but I'm not sure where to put it. The thick oil makes my keys sluggish - should I forget about that? I think I'm supposed to put that under the valve caps, and the thin oil into the pipes. Hmmm

My school has something called "Coffee House", where students have to stand up in front of everyone on the stage and perform/read a piece of poetry for everyone.

The only main restriction there is, is that is has to be written by a reasonably well-known poet.
