Does any one know where I can find a website that includes images and descriptions that explains where to put your fingers on the flute keys to play certain notes?

www.wfg.woodwind.org/index.html for fingerings.

www.fluteland.com for general info on playing the flute. Awesome site check it out.

After you get started go to a music store and get some lessons.

I don't know but as a flute player I can tell you you can go to a music shop and buy a beginners flute book which wouldn't be that horrendously expensive and many of these books will have diagrams etc...showing this because it is a beginner flute book. Hey good luck, I have been playing the flute most of my life!

What you need to do is to go to the Music store and Order a flute positions cart. That cost around $5.00. I don't know any website with that info.
