La Fenice (the Phoenix) is the Venice Opera house. It has been re-opened after a very bad fire that occurred there a few years ago. The house is now open and is performing operas again and I would like to book seats there.

Im real into screamo and i want to acheive that clean screaming in as short a time as possible or at least be on the road to getting it down. Also, does anyone have any tips for getting that type of emo-ish voice for singing? I already perform but I want to be able to hit higher notes. Please help. Thanks.

My friend & I are going to be in our school's talent contest, and we really need some help in finding some good, fun songs to sing. We're looking for two. They'd need to be fun to sing, fun to watch, fun to dance to, and overall upbeat. Any titles would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance =)

I would like to know what the letters E, M & O stand for. I’ve tried to dig up on EMO history, but it can be bewildering. It’s supposedly related to punk and hardcore, however the music description, fashion and psychological makeup of EMO and the lists of new bands seem to be at odds with every punk maxim. Correct me if I’m wrong. How can a pop band be hardcore or be bona fide punk? How does it relate to hardcore heavy metal? Are EMO fans really distilling the 1990’s grunge attitude and packaging it like Coca-Cola Light? Could the following old school bands be mistaken for being EMO: The Pixies; Nirvana; Radiohead; The Presidents of the United States of America – or the Police, or the Smiths even? I’m sorry if I offended any EMO fans. But seriously, I’m here to know, not to say I know.

Nickel Creek NOT Nickelback these are two different groups.

I'd go with "Anthony", closely followed by "Speak" and the "Lighthouse's Tale". Such a shame they are breaking up at the end of 2007

Have you seen them in concert? isn't the cover of "Toxic" a hoot?

When I'm playing guitar, I hold the pick between the index and thumb. I'll grip the pick with just a little of the pick sticking out by curling my index finger inward a little bit, but then my index finger starts to uncurl as I play and it starts to touch the strings. So my index finger is always touching the strings just before the pick touches it. Is this the way it's supposed to be? This is not such a big deal when it comes to strumming power chords and you're not too concerned with getting a clean sound, but it sucks when your trying to play single notes.
