hey im trying to make an object like a light bulb light up and float around....can someone please tell me exactly hwo to do this if your a magican too? thank you!

This is a combination of two commercially available tricks. Magic light bulbs are basically flashlights tricked out to look like light bulbs and most often used for comedy effects (like Uncle Fester's 'bulb in mouth' bit. You can buy these for about $10 each at most magic or novelty suppliers.

Floating is another can of worms. If there is a scarf or cover involved, it is the Zombie effect, which you can buy and modify for about $40. If you want it to float around without the cover, it is a 'stage illusion' and takes special pulley rigs, etc. to work.

Magicians cannot share secrets 'out in the open', but you can find one of the magic forums on-line and ask for help within the magic community if you want more information. Another great place is your local magic shop- they can often set you up with jsut what you are looking for!
