I am looking to buy my first electric. I've played my acoustic for a while now, so I don't really want to call myself a beginner, but you get the point.

I'm looking for a guitar that is affordable, but still has a good tone. To define that, I want a tone that resembles the full, "crunch" sounds played by Green Day, the Ramones, and other bands along those lines.

Right now, my top choice is an Epiphone Les Paul Junior. Is this a good guitar for someone who is starting out on the electric?

I'm a teen, and am working to get into an acting career, and along with being a good actress (and I keep trying to improve by taking tons of classes) and am a dancer, and have been for 8 years... but I can't sing!!!! It seems like a bunch of teenage actresses are singers, but I have a very low voice (tenner) for a girl, and can't hit high notes. Do you think I can still have a good career in show-biz even though I can't sing?

I've the piano and voice are sorta like an item. I will learn the keys and etc, once I've learned the piano. The examples I was given was John Legend, Alicia Keys, and Jamie Foxx. In my opinion, all three of the fore mentioned, have extraordinary vocal talents/ability. Is this because of their second ability to play the piano also? I am thinking about taking voice lessons, along with some piano lesson, but probably not in one. Any advice!!! I am 16, and I am very serious about sharpening my skills. I love music...this is my life. I know that if I don't make it in entertainment, I will become some sort of music teacher/instructor/coach or etc. Hopefully, I have enough talent to make it in the industry. I am willing to pay anything I have to get where I want to go.Please Help!

I saw the piece last night. It's an electronic instrument with an antennae. The musician uses his left hand to press some sort of button. The musician uses his right hand in a sort of a clenched fist. I believe that some how the right hand interferes with the signal from the antennae. The instrument produces a strange "sci-fi" like sound. Anybody have any ideas?
