I just bought a KORG Chromatic Tuner from a music store the other day and I just stringed my guitar. But whenever I tune it I don't know which calibration to use. I have a steel string acoustic. please answer

A 440 is standard guitar tuning on most stringed instruments.

If you are the least bit unsure, go back to the music store and make them show you. Otherwise, the automatic setting at A=440 should do just fine. The Korg should automatically recognize the range of the note you are playing. It never hurts to get together with a knowledgeable friend or teacher as well. this is one of those situations where I might mislead you by answering a slightly different question than you asked, and it would be better for you to get some face to face help. You could be talking about pitch, octave range, or even a specific calibration (mean tuning as opposed to tempered tuning) and I don't want to confuse you further.

The same way you can tuna piano....but you can't tuna fish.
