I am trying to get into CCM (College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati), and would love to hear from anyone who has attended CCM, or is currently attending, especially for classical guitar, but anyone's advice is appreciated. How did you like the faculty, facilities, people, and overall experience. And anyone else who has knowledge of CCM is welcome to comment too.

What do you think of the Thenardier family of the book and musical Les Miserables? Do you think they are nastier in the book or musical? I myself found them hilarious in the play and horribly mean in the book.

someone told me to do breath exercises and they help sing longer but not sound better, i don't sound horrible when i sing but sound as if i'm straining and i am and my throat hurts after word. Is there anyone that can help sound better and not strain my voice or hurt my throat trying to do it...

I just started violin, but am really not interested in Classical since I do that on piano.. I find the Gypsy violin style the absolute pinnacle for solo mastery. But I don't really know how to get beginner materials or scales. My violin teacher only knows how to teach classical/suzuki, etc.

I am a great fan of the Fiddler on the Roof violin music. I am so pleased to hear Issac Stern plays it, and is in the top ten violin Masters (also saved Carnegie Hall from demolition)...I would love to practice the introduction violin work...any help here?

i wanna to sing and maybe even dance a little bit.I want to do something that eveyone is going to say wow that was a good performate it was really good.Maybe a song by raven symone,paula deandra, vanessa anne hudgens or even kelly clarkson.Maybe one of them or someone else. im a very good sing but the only thing that is stopping me to be my best is my throat. every time i sing, later my throat hurts i try to sing from my diaphram, but nothinh works.
