The euphonium is by far the superior instrument in the band. I should know. I am the leader of the band geeks.

i'm a clarinet participant, so i'm somewhat biased. i'd propose it to all of us, it particularly is interesting to play and also you sometimes get very difficult music to handle. I also propose the french horn. it is the most wonderful sounding brass device. Any band wish to have one, a similar is going for bassoon. i do not propose percussion, till your college truly needs some. There are frequently a ton of percussion gamers, and this may reduce down on your playing time. also, percussionists ought to attend plenty in band, there are songs the position you would purely play for 4 measures, and performance 70 measures of relax. Be prepared for this! Percussion and brass are exceedingly a lot "the bomb" in marching band although, they have many of the substantial music to play. many colleges grant an device attempt-out day, yet be careful, because i understand the only through me did not even grant french horn or bassoon as an option. in case you want to play jazz i doesn't handle bassoon, although french horn remains ok because you should both play jazzy french horn or change to trumpet for jazz band. actually, you may make any device artwork for jazz (definite, even flute!).

I was in a classical band for our school a couple years ago but the commitment was too much for me. All the early morning practices and such, I played the flute and I didn't mind it to much. So I would say the flute or the clarionette maybe.

Im an original flut fanatic, but just recently I joined the jazz band, and am learning the Barri Sax. I know, drastic. But I love the low, deep resonating noise!! And the low D is sooo low it vibrates your whole head!!

i am in band
at first i tried oboe but that was kind of hard
if your looking for an easy but some times challenging instrument try trumpet or percussion or the easyiest clarenet
i picked percussion and it going fine
