My school is having a dance unit, and I need some appropriate music, it needs to be great dance music, and I would prefer no hip- hop.

i have been trying my hardest to practice the splits every day now for about two weeks. problem is, now that i do that, my hips knees and ankles crack A LOT! it's mildly painful, and it makes it hard for me to convince myself to go into my splits. any suggestions and possible "diagnosises" would be helpful. thanx!
P.S. i have already tried skipping a day. the problem didn't go away.

Well, I'm in Kiss Me Kate, at my school and one of the scenes the director wants me to wear a robe, but what should i where underneath it so that nothing "private" shows...(not a leotard)

and for another scene im am wearing a knee length black dress with red heels, what should i where underneath so that this will also not show any "private" parts?

Ok so im looking for the cheapest possible pointe shoes i can find. Ive been out of dance for a few months and just want to get back in shape before i start again but i really dont want to spend alotta money on shoes to just practice in. I am really intense tap dancer.
I am sad that there are like no questions about tap on here! :(

im in a hip-hop dance class with a few girls from my school and they are thinking about performing it for the talent show. it would be cool because we all have the same costume and hip hop is considered really cool at my school.

problem is, ive been working on a lyrical/modern dance for six months and its the first piece ive chereographed myself. i actually think its realy good, and i was already planning on performing it in the talent show before my friends asked me.

what should i do, the "cool" hip hop dance or the creative and expressive lyrical/modern that I MADE?
