Well, I'm in Kiss Me Kate, at my school and one of the scenes the director wants me to wear a robe, but what should i where underneath it so that nothing "private" shows...(not a leotard)
and for another scene im am wearing a knee length black dress with red heels, what should i where underneath so that this will also not show any "private" parts?

I think you are worried to much about not showing private parts. Well in advance before the performance you can ask your female friend to help you out and sit in the first row while you go to the very edge of the stage. She will tell you should you worry or not. If you are still worried, you can wear dance shorts (also known as dance pants) under the robe. You can find them on websites like http://www.allaboutdance.com or http://www.discountdance.com

why dont you want to wear a leo? i think that would be the easiest. but you could try wearing a sports bra and some tight shorts? or a cami and some shorts. or a cami or a bra and then some leggings? or even just tan tights? good luck =]
