Dancing

Do you know of any dance groups that are looking for people to join for an upcoming performance?!
If not, where can i find these things out?
I was hoping there would be a bollywood/hip hop team (cuz I'm Indian)
But if its just hip hop, that'd be great!

I have a competition tomorrow, and my pointe shoes are really broken in... Does anyone know a way to harden the shank up a little, just enough so that it isn't dangerous to dance on them tomorrow? I don't have time to break in new ones... Help please!!

Well, Its a group of nine girls and this is the "young choreographers" group bcause we, the students, are making up the dance. Last year we did that kinda whistling techno thing that was on the pepsi commercial. Progression, I think. Although, we had the song way before the commercial came out hah. So, now i think we need to stray away for techno. It has to be either a jazz, hip hop, or modern-ish jazz piece. Any song suggestions?? I was thinking thed theme song to dance life "find a new way". I loovve it. Any other suggestions?

Ok. for school i have to make a dance routine for s.o.s. by rihanna but i have 4 other slow people that got paired with me. So are there any dance moves that our group could do? If they are too hard for the 4 slow people...WHO CARES!!! just i need some ideas for the dance. We already have 5 eight counts out of 12. Just please no retard moves! Thanks. This is really easy but anything i mention is too hard for some. So at this point i really don't care. I just need a dance. If you can't help or you thing this is my job and put a smart remark...this is ok with me but thanx for "trying" ; ) Thanx!

i want to start competing worldwide in ballroom dance... could somebody fill me in on how that works.. like if i have to win anything in america first then go on to represent and if anybody knows a website where i can find upcoming competitions worldwide

Bulldogs is the name of the school.
I made it in 7th grade, but I didn't in 8th so I don't remember a lot...and I need to impress the judges

Last night, I was stretching for my left split and got really close, like only two inches off the floor. I was pushing myself down as hard as I could. Today, I woke up and was really sore. I tried my split again, but I couldn't go down as far, like six or seven inches away from the ground. Does that mean that when I heal, I won't be as close to my split and have to stretch all over again? Or do I just have to wait until my leg isn't sore, and I can still get to two inches away from the ground?
